PETA VERSES THE OLSENS

TUESDAY #5

Promoting their new book Influence.

PETA decided to pay them a visit outside their book signing.

At a party for their book release.

OLSENS LOVE FUR

I have to admit, ever since PETA has been on their case, I haven't really seen the girls in fur as much. (Well at least not Ashley). I still think wearing a dead animals remains on your body is wrong, gross and sick. What if it was the other way around?

i totally support peta's goal, but they turn such a serious issue into joke. wearing masks that poke fun at the olsens does nothing to help animals...damn that pisses me off. but that doesn't excuse them for wearing dead animal carcasses everywhere :/

I have no problem with furr, i wear leather shoes so i think it would be silly if i decided furr was a step too far, its all the same to me, leather jacker, furry jacket, all the same... i know thats an unpopular opnion among many, but i thought bout and i thats how i feel...

I want that olsen book so bad!!!

blakk, it's not the same as leather because:
1- Leather is taken from an animal that's whole body is used; for meat etc. For fur the animal is slaughtered for the fur only.
2- The methods of killing. To acquire quality fur, the animal is usually skinned alive, after a few hard blows on the head. I have seen a truck full of skinned animals that were still alive and looking around, screaming in agony.

Anyway I think the Olsens look ugly in fur, their small frame is swallowed by it, add stringy hair to that and that is NOT a good look. Peta's masks are mean and not to the point, they could do better. However masks are not nearly as mean as animal cruelty!
