Model Erin Wasson has a clothing line. She's partner's up with skater brand RVCA and describes her collection as west coast beach style meets New York style. Erin Wasson resides in both New York (Three floors above Alexander Wang) and has a beach house in Santa Monica. Fellow blogger Rumi (See an interview I did with her here) was lucky enough to be invited to Erin's apartment for a preview of her collection. The line isn't cheap, prices go up to around 350$ and the famous cut off denim shorts are 250$.

I've heard some whispers here and there that these two no longer have a 'professional' relationship. I also heard that people are finding that Erin's collection looks too similar to something Alexander would create. The collection does look similar in my opinion, I guess when you are bombarded it's hard to find your own creative ideas.

Yes she is overexposed. They shouldn't have disclosed the collection this much prior to the release date! The line isn't even out yet and I'm already sick of the pieces. I guess there will be trendwhores out there who are willing to fork out such huge amounts of money for a look so easy to imitate.
She has got good style and I like that style on HER. But Alexander Wang's style is more universal, less trashy, more "luxurious casual rebel" in an actually creative way. I ADORE Wang!
