CELEB STYLE - GEORGINA CHAPMAN

19.01.2009
MONDAY - PART 3

Here is what I believe is a sure tip from Georgina, If you want your clothing line to be successful just wear it all all times. In case you don't know georgina is the co-creator and designer of Marchesa along with Karen Craig.

lol is it wrong to find this a bit funny? Those designs ARE beautiful though, i'd sure be tempted to wear my own if they were so beautifully made and striking too.

The dresses are so amazing! Makes one kind of wistful; thinking WHEN in the near future would we have the chance to dress up to the nines!

It's a smart decision since she does those beautiful dresses more justice than the models. She is so gorgeous(them both) and talented, it's kind of unfair :P

I totally agree. I also think the dresses looks better on her, than the models.

I'm with her. I only wear my own jewelry -- why miss a selling opportunity?

if you are going to design something beautiful, you should indeed wear it. why not?

well you have to believe in your product, otherwise it's not very authentic. Being absolutely gorgeous also helps with showcasing your designs in the best possible light. I think Georgina's very talented, but I don't think Marchesa would've become such a household name if it wasn't for her husband.
