BRITNEY SPEARS - GLAMOUR MAGAZINE

MONDAY - PART 5

Black Friday was last week in America, it happens the day after the American Thanks Giving. (We celebrate in early October here in Canada).
Black Friday is basically the American version of Boxing day, which is only in the commonwealth countries (UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia etc etc) and happens the day after Christmas. To me boxing day makes more sense, I mean stuff should go on sale after Christmas right? It makes sense retail wise.

Anyway, on Black Friday things got a little out of control at a Wal-Mart in New York state. The mob of hundreds of people were so frantic that they literally started taking the hinges off the doors at 5 am, and an employee got trampled to death and no one even stopped to help him. When they announced they were closing the store because somebody had died, people kept shopping...some even complained! Is the world that materialistic? Just shocking....he was only 34 and a temporary worker...RIP.

BRITNEY SPEARS:
FOR THE RECORD

Who watched the Britney documentary last night? *raises hand*, I actually forgot it was on and happen to stumble across it. This thing was two hours long, a bloody movie! It was full of Oh whoa is me, and I did feel bad for her. She needs to admit that she created her own paparazzi frenzy, she put herself in those situations. I'm glad to see she's cleaned up, but it's pretty obvious that she's still just as unhappy. I also found it interesting that Britney doesn't want to live in LA, she would rather be in New York, but she has to stay there because of her kids.
Britney was upset because she use to be "A cool chick" and now she's not.

"I used to be a cool chick and I feel like the paparazzi has taken my whole cool slang away from me"

"The way I used to live, I was a pretty cool chick, and I'm not really that anymore."

She kinda lost me when she said 'She's seen the cruelest part of the world', really Britney? Have you been to Africa? Have you seen dead children's starved bodies on the side of the road? She's so dramatic, but I can't blame her, we all are when it comes to our own lives.

The best quote of the doco: "people shave their heads every day." Really Britney? Is that so? So you were perfectly sane when you decided to do this?

Yes, I saw that doc.
And I'm so glad you picked that quote about the shaved head.

Honestly, I don't reeeeally feel sorry for her.

I'm happy to see the wal-mart incident on your blog(it was already on mine). People are attacking "stuff" with a cannibalistic insanity. Consume, consume, consume, that's the meaning of life. They've got blood on their hands; both that security guard's and the blood of the dead starved children you mentioned. I'm kind of glad the economy is failing, we need a fresh start.

As for Britney, she needs to stop being in denial. You just could not handle fame girl...

I watched about an hour of the Britney thing, it's sad she spends so much time feeling sorry for herself.
