THE BEST AND WORST DRESSED OF 2008

12.31.2008
GOODBYE 2008 (Thank God)
HELLO 2009!

This was such a great year for fashion, everyone looked amazing I can't say that there were as many faux pas as I expected.
Note: You'll have to scroll a lot to get to the end of this post.

Praise me! And she should be, there is no doubt Natalie was the best dressed of the year in this Givenchy number. I think she will go down in fashion history, we'll be digging up these classic pictures of her 50 years from now.

The best and worst dresses (/ Outfits) were selected on my random opinion, feel free to chose yours.

Diane Kruger would win for best dressed overall this year on the red carpet.

THE WORST OF 2008
Bai Ling shares the title with Solange Knowles this year for worst dresser and dress. I'm giving Solange some credit though, not every single one of her outfits this year was terrible, it's too bad I can't say the same about Bai. As much as all these ladies have had faux pas, at least they were entertaining.

This Armani Prive number should never see the light of day again.

Coming third in worst dressed this year after Bai and Solange is Phoebe Price.

Wow, what a post! Great summary of everything that's gone on. I think Bai Ling had a more tasteful year than usual, actually. I was looking at the pictures like "Where's the wild Bai Ling I've come to know and love? She's practically dressed like a granny!"

Holy Post! This year has been insane, up and down, all over the place. This breakdown of all the events of each month makes you realize what actually stands out after time and what we've already forgotten. This post is fantastic. I really liked seeing and admiring outfits for the second time. Can't wait for more of your posts in the New Year.

What a retrospective !!! So I vote for Diane Kruger, Rachel Weisz and Thandie Newton in the "Best Dressed category" !!!
ps: Mmmmh actually I think that there is an amusing contrast between Gisele B's scorching presence and "Disney's spirit", and it is a (sculptural) delight . . .
re-ps: Happy New Year 2009 to You !!!

à Bientôt, Antoine
