CONFIRMED: Katie Holmes will be the new face of Miu Miu joining the ranks of Vanessa Paradis, Kristen Dunst and Lindsay Lohan.

Thanks for the news but i personally am not fond of having celebrities be the face of any lines (à la Versace). i can live with having stylish celebrities such as kristen dunst and chloe sevigny, however, those campaigns belong to models, not the likes of demi moore, madonna and katie holmes. designers are just trying to cash in on the fact that celebrities sell (like anna wintour and american vogue - when was the last time a model appeared on the cover?) but continuously forget that modeling is for models, acting is for celebrities!

I'm sad to learn that that magazine is folding. It's an old title!

I'll be thrilled, on the other hand, to see the P.S. bags. It's about time!
