Wow talk about a disconnected collection, when I first saw it I thought "Oh no", but it's grown on me. I love the clothes, but I don't think the presentation was well put together especially in the second half. Thakoon seems to have gotten inspiration from other collections. It looks like all the designers made love and this is their baby.

I think the new bags are amazing, they've stepped it up since 4-5 years ago. 
I really like this collection, I thought it was very chic and must better then the previous. The hats and head pieces are just genius it really draws you to the models.

BALENCIAGA FALL 2008 READY TO WEAR
From what I hear Balenciaga has taken inspiration for their recent collections from the shape of a car. It's a bold move and they've pulled it off, so much so that they seem to be getting copied everywhere. (See Fendi below)

I love how Chloe's clothes look like an artist painted them. This is a total hit in my opinion, I can see a lot of celebrities sporting some of these dresses.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the third chloe dress is just dream like, i love it. fendi's a toned done balenciaga to me, looking at their runways. it's not a bad thing though. great coverage.
I love the Chloe styles. I'd wear those. But ayeee... it was 70 degrees today, one of those bright California spring days where you notice all the buds coming out on the trees. I need to find some shorts to wear too!

Loved this post! I agree on Thakoon, it was a bit of a mess. I thought Louis Vuitton was way better than previous seasons. As for my favourites from Paris, it's Balenciaga, Lanvin and Chloé.

i agree with you on thakoon.. it took me a while to get used to it... it usually takes me a while to get used to the fall looks because im so excited for spring and the bright colors, and then i look at the fall shows and everything is so black and gloomy!
and i love that you look for stuff on ebay.. ive tried that, but the shipping rates are so expensive!
Really like Lanvin's collection, but I'm not loving the Balenciaga and the Fendi right now, they'll probably grow on me though.
