BE BACK SOON

Hi everyone, I'm in the middle of wrapping things up here for my move overseas back to Australia and I'm travelling on the way there for the next 6 weeks hitting up Mexico, Stockholm, Poland, Greece, Thailand, Egypt etc. I'll keep you guys posted, and I'll be back to Mahalo before you know it. x

I've picked up a few things the last couple of months, I thought I'd share! Sorry everything is still wrinkled from being in my suitcase.

Boots from Free People, bought online. These are great and fun for winter, I love them to pieces! They were a great price as far as Free People is concerned.

I finally got Oxford shoes at Aldo, after looking around for the right comfortable pair in my size. I tried to look for some when I was down in Australlia last month, but it doesn't seem like the trend has hit there yet. Maybe when the weather cools off...

White tank bought in Australia, I can't remember the name of the store but I believe the brand is Sunny girl (one of those stores that imports a lot of cute clothes from Asia). Strapless jumpsuit is from Cotton On, also bought in Australia.

Black bodysuit is from Valley girl & Maxi dress is from Supre, both bought in Australia.

Tank from Arizia, bought here in Ottawa & the dress Mink Pink bought in Australia.

T-shirt bought for 1.50$ on Venice beach, I love the bargains around there. High waisted shorts bought at 7Angel in Australia.

Mexican top bought in Tijuana Mexico, tank bought at Supre in Australia.

I got these oxford looking shoes at Payless for $40! Bargain! I shop for my shoes at Payless often cause they always have my size 10 and it's easier to dispose when they are not to trendy anymore.

FRIDAY - PART 4

I'm disappointed, I went to two Aldos, tried to have it shipped in and checked online and still they don't have my size. I HATE Aldo, but I love their shoes. Unless I happen to be there 2-3 days after they they a shipment I will never find a size 10. I have big feet, but still it's not like it's not a common size. I'm disappointed because there are not very many places in Ottawa to get trendy shoes at a reasonable price. I was really wanting these for when I go to Australia next month since I won't be able to find any sandals here in town (because it's winter). I might have to buy a pair when I get down under to see me through.
On the other hand I am proud of Aldo, there one of the few Canadian stores that's managed to carve a spot in the international market.

TUESDAY - PART 2

I went to the opening of the first Zara in Ottawa, we still don't have an H & M, Urban Outfitters or Mango, but it's a start! Well it was quite chaotic especially for Ottawa and they were running out of floor stock real quick. You could tell that some of the staff were not fully trained (I've got years of retail experience), and they had technical issues (security alarm kept going off, debit machine not working therefore causing long lines) so I ended up coming back the following day when it was a lot calmer. There are definitely some nice pieces, and not so nice pieces, I always find Zara to be a mixed bag. Here's what I picked up:

Drop crotch pants. I wore these to work today, I love them!

This looks much better on then it does on a hanger.

I went on a bit of a spree at one of my favorite stores, American Apparel. I've been eyeing that romper for at least a year now, I finally decided to get it since I will be in Australia over Christmas.

I got this bra to wear under the romper though I like it more for showing the back then the front since I'm quite chesty, I spill out quite bit. I'll have to cut and adjust the straps.

I swear this is the perfect little t-shirt.

I love this moss green.

They've got thermal skirts out for winter, so cozy.

I've been gone a while, this is what happens when you have a drama filled summer and I've been travelling a lot. I've managed to pick up some things here and there that I'll share with you guys.

I wear these at the office, they make a casual outfit look so dressy.

Unfortunately I bought that striped top without trying it on, it's a size 6 and it's baggy on me. I've seen this top in various H & Ms, make sure you try it beforehand.
