PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2009

01.08.2009
THURSDAY - PART 2

Rating: 5 being the best 1 being the worst.

Debra Messing. I really like this dress on her and it reminds me of YSL. The makeup, earrings and hair go perfectly especially the earrings.

RATING: 3.5

She also wore Donna Karen last December and got some mixed reviews for this dress.Personally I love it, I'm a big fan of billowy Angelic looking dresses.

Olivia Wild looks like she's going to a beach wedding to me, but I like it. Whomever did her makeup did a great job.

RATING: 3.5

Jenny McCarthy Garth (I've gotten these two confused for years). This dress looks very Roland Mouret, but I can't say with 100% certainty. (I'm sure someone will clarify;). She looks a bit like an old 50s housewife.

RATING: 3

Carrie Underwood is blessing us with some Pre-Fall. Unfortunately she seems to always make poor choices when she wears long evening dresses. The colors are suited more towards a brunette in my opinion.

RATING: 2.5

Like a lime pie or something.
RATING: 2

I don't care what anyone says about this dress, I like it.

RATING: 3.8 ( I couldn't quite make it a four)

Jennifer Morrison wins best dressed of the night for me, stunning. This girl always makes great choices.

RATING: 4.5

Terri Hatcher. She looks fun and cute here, but I can't help but notice she's starting to age. Hopefully she continues gracefully.

RATIGN: 3.5

Chandra Wilson. The color of this dress is great, like a bright penny, but I think it should have been way shorter.

RATING: 2.8

Jewel. Wow so much time has passed since she was living in her Van. I do miss her old original music, Pieces of me will always be one of my favorite CDs. It was 8th grade, and I was really starting to discover and get into different kinds of music genres.

RATING: 3

Paris Hilton. Her outfits are always so dysfunctional, it probably would have worked if she had a different bag and shoes.

RATING: 2

Jessica Stroup. I love it I love it, she looks gorgeous in this dress. I love that she chose something that wasn't the standard. I do wonder though, when will this trend stop?

RATING: 4

Reese Witherpoon wins the most boring outfit award. What's going on with her? Maybe it's the look of contentment or maybe her stylist took the night off.

RATING: 2.5

Dakota Fanning. I love this vibrant blue dress, it just long enough not to remind me of a figure skater. Dakota sure loves her mini dresses, I've put together a little 'collage' below.

RATING: 3.5

Katherine Heigl. Nice but nothing special. Seems to be a lot of people rocking the black pant suit these days, to I smell a red carpet trend?

RATING: 3

Queen Latifah. The host of the night looked stunning in this dress. I think this is the most gorgeous shade of purple I've seen in ages.

RATING: 3.5

Kate Hudson. Another dress that got mixed reviews, but I really like it.

RATING: 3.5

Brooke Burke. This isn't something I would wear, but it looks great on her. I think the sleek hair compliments everything well.

RATING: 3

Nikki Cox. I can't even talk about her outfit, I think what she's done to her lips is sad.

RATING: 2.5 (Too short)

Paula Marshall. Rocking the Pink and Black trend that I blogged about last week.

RATING: 4

Marisa Tomei. I believe she's wearing Donna Karen. Style just radiates out of this girl, I love seeing new pictures of her.

RATING: 4.5

Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi. Portia has such great style, her smile always reminds me of The Grinch though.

RATING: 3.5

Lori Loughlin. I like this short mermaide look on her, the fabric and color choice compliments her well. Lori should have good style because she's married to designer Mossimo Giannulli !

RATING: 3

Jordin Sparks. Another mini dress? Why am I not surprised? It's very bold of her to combine gold shoes and clutch with a metallic blue dress.

RATING: 3

Samantha Harris. Yawn.

RATING: 2.8

AnnaLynne McCord. Now this is how you accessorize! I especially like the bangle. Her hair is gorgeous too.

RATING: 4

Malin Akerman. She looks much better blonde, so I hope she goes back. I do like this dress, but it does look a little Forever21 ish.

RATING: 2.8

I have a dress that reminds me of the lime pie dress with both the tiers and the color! I hope I don't look like a pie in it.

Nice post. I would rate Paris Hilton a tad higher though, just because the dress is pretty. The shoes and bag are totally off though. Jessica Stroup's dress was my absolute favorite.
