Canada had an election a few weeks ago and no one really gave a shit considering the turn out, it's not too surprising considering it's our third election in 4 years?! (Due to a minority government). We've had some great steps in Canada too, our current Govenor General (Head of state) the gorgeous Michaëlle Jean is Caribbean-Canadian and her predecessor Adrienne Clarkson is Chinese-Canadian, represent!
It's hard not to get swept up in the American elections, particularly this one. I just hope the people that voted McCain will respect their new President, instead of booing as they did during McCain speech which I thought was disrespectful to McCain, interrupting him like that!
