16 YEAR OLD'S £16,000 WEDDING DRESS

FRIDAY #5

I was reading the Daily Mail like I always do (I know it's trashy) when I came accross this story of a 16 year old living in a trailer van with her parents who got married to her 17 year old boyfriend in a 'lavish' £100,100 wedding. Her dad paves driveways for a living but managed to save up for his daughters 'dream wedding'. And I thought Jordan's wedding to Peter Andre was bad...

"But as his princess, who hasn't been in a classroom since she was nine and wants to be a glamour model, posed for photographs, her father Simon, 35, declared it was worth every penny. 'I'm very proud of her today,' he said. "

"Daddy also said Yes to a £16,000 wedding dress (which looked suspiciously like a crop top and skirt) and Yes to 150 guests at the reception. Then there were the cars, the hotels, the tiara and the £500 bouquet. "

"The couple married six days after Missy turned 16 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Congleton-Cheshire. After the ceremony-guests in feathers and crystals enjoyed champagne and an all-day buffet at the reception. Girls as young as nine showed off bikini tops, high heels and make-up. "

"Missy and Thomas honeymooned in Turkey before moving into their own £18,000 caravan - a wedding gift from her parents. "

Classy.

its just appalling in the first place that she doesn't feel bad for doing this to her parents. This is a story of being too spoilt. Its just so embarassing to be doing that.

that's whats happenning when people are hillbillies !!they spend more on their wedding than on they own house!!!

What absolutely appalls me is that the father chose to spend 100,000 pounds on his daughter's (trashy) wedding, rather than put it as a payment towards a HOUSE rather than continue living in a caravan..

^^ she could have still had a nice wedding for 20,000 and the could have put 80,000 on a house!

I agree, get out of the Caravan and into a real home and have a lovely 15,000 wedding, it could have been just as nice and someone would have a home...
