Guerreira said...: oh boy. i don't like the idea. she was one of the coolest chicks ever, very much in tune with her own idea of style, so poised...it feels wrong to use her image like this. here in the uk, a chain of shops used a video of edith piaff singing and put subtitles as if she was saying: "oooh, how I regret...not having gone to Specsavers". It was awful. On a happier note, just found your blog and looooove it!! Spent quite a while reading older posts!!!; 2008-04-23, 4:15 p.m.

Elizabeth said...: I remember this from last year. I think Audrey Hepburn would have to be pretty hip to be into the splicing Gap did of her and AC/DC. It's kind of weird that they took that liberty, but it's a digital world, and we do things because we can, I suppose.
