Imagine my surprise when I got back home and I saw this broken necklace. I had dropped it in the store and I didn't notice the center part had come off when I picked it up, you think the cashier would have noticed?

I'm pretty pleased with what I got, I've been wanting to go to Urban for like a year now since I didn't have it in Australia, though I didn't find much in terms of clothes. The Urban in Montreal is really small, and I felt like they were a little overpriced.

You look like you got a good haul nonetheless. I've seen the leather jacket at the H&M near me, but maybe you'll see it next tiem around, when they restock?

I hate that when you go to a store with a mission THINKING you will complete that mission, and you are shut down.
OH! and I saw that jacket at the H&M in my hometown, but their biggest size didn't fit my man like biceps and I felt very uncomfortable, so I bought a different one. Buttt, that specific one is super cutee and chic and I wish I had that one!
That a fantastic shoot with Thandie. She's one of my favourite actresses around at the moment. Great blog.

It's not just you, many times I go to H&M, I rarely find the stuff I had previously seen on their website... The exception was once I went shopping in Malmo, Sweden.

But in Germany especially at my hometown there's no oppurtunity to buy something from Urban Outfitters.Hate it!
where i am from (TN) the nearest H&M is in chicago! so i only get to go once or twice a year when i am at school (in IL). i think that urban is overpriced, but i think that the lux and free people brands are really nice and (almost!) worth it.

i normally don't like h&m, but that sweater dress is awesome. and the leather jacket looks really cool too. so does the flower print dress and the black dress with the coloured flowers at the neck.
i like thandie newton's hair&face better when her hair is not tied back. her style is nice though.

I get price shock everytime I buy something (it's costing much more than the 4.9% or whatever the government is reporting as the current level of inflation).

the urban in toronto is quite big, but definitely overpriced. and we cant buy online in Canada because they have a ridiculous shipping fee.

That H&M leather jacket is my all-time drool-worthy item. I think I might have to get my ass out of the house this weekend and trek out to the nearest H&M to snag it.

I love Thandie Newton - she's not as well known as many other celebrities, but she has such a sophisticated style and so much acting talent. Her role in Crash definitely made take notice of her - she did a fantastic job on that film.
Victoria beckam's son is just the cutes thing ever! Oh and the clothes you picked out at H&M 'n Urban Outfitters were really cute too I really like 'em
